The Legendary “Ton Pa” Magnet

“Ton Pa” was how legendary Seychellois musician, the late Jacob Marie, was affectionately known throughout the land. He was considered as one of “the last story-teller musicians”, using the traditional musical instruments – such as the bonm –  to create a unique sound to accompany his iconic style of singing and delivery. Highly respected by all, having “Ton Pa” at home will show you are a true Seychellois at heart!

The artwork is created through pyrography – the art of “writing with fire” by free hand drawing a design on a piece of wood using hot metal.
